Group Rules

We are a group dedicated to horse photography.
No other medium is accepted and all submissions must be your own work.
We have no limit on submissions but only quality work will be accepted.
Please do not submit several similar photographs or spam, some will be declined.
Note the featured folder has a limit of 1 submission per day, all other folders are unlimited.
If you submit to the wrong folder your work will be declined.
Any black and white photos must go in the black and white folder, no matter what the subject is.
To submit art you must go to the gallery folder first.

Just wondering is there a way of getting and asking tips on here? otherwise can someone help me with that im going to olympia in london, and it's indoors.....of course we know how the lighting is different, and i want to be sure i have the correct camera settings for it?? :L x

You are welcome!

My suggestion is that you should have a higher ISO setting to go with a fast shutter speed, however there is a fine balance between getting a clear shot and having a grainy photo. You may want to play with the settings and take a few test shots to get the ideal settings.

thank you ever so much!! i tried doing some of that today, as you said, it's very tricky when i haven't got the same lighting as a school, to practise on :P haha will have to be on the day job and fingers crossed it will go to plan!!! 
if it does, you'll know by the amount of pictures i upload ;)
